NASA's 33rd Annual Planetary Science Summer School

        May 24 - August 6, 2021

Culminating Week with JPL's Team X:
        August 2 - 6, 2021
Notification of Selection:
        By April 26, 2021

Second Session:
        May 24 - August 20, 2021

Culminating Week with JPL's Team X::
        August 16 - 20, 2021

  • Before applying, carefully review the Program Information for eligibility requirements and course description. Ineligible applications will NOT be considered.
  • In addition to this application, your advisor is required to provide a letter of recommendation. YOU are responsible for making sure all aspects of the application are correct and provided by the due date, including the letter of recommendation.
  • Fill out this application in its entirety prior to the Application Deadline. Late or incomplete applications are NOT accepted. There are NO exceptions.

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

A signed letter of recommendation, on letterhead, from your faculty advisor or CURRENT supervisor is REQUIRED. The advisor's letter must, at a minimum, address:

  1. The applicant's likelihood of a future career and leadership doing NASA work in planetary science, planetary exploration or mission engineering fields of interest to NASA.
  2. How PSSS will benefit the applicant.
  3. What characteristics the applicant possesses that make them suitable to PSSS
